We need new tires too (since there is a defective one that has been a headache since Day One five years ago....grump..don't go to Firestone).
Maybe you would feel better if you decided what tires you want first (tirerack.com helpful me make up my mind). I am thinking about getting them at Slimmer's despite my lifetime balance and alignment at Firestone. I think they are in your neck of the woods (near old Don's Steakhouse).
