5-Hour Energy
Jun. 2nd, 2010 06:57 pmI tried one of those 5-hour energy drinks today. I can't say it doesn't work, particularly. I can say that I feel rather restless.
I went and bought things to decorate my 2 bathrooms in the new house. I looked at patio furniture and lawnmowers, as well as plants. Scary grown-up stuff, but it is also a little fun.
I am afraid to open a charge account at Nebraska Furniture Mart before I know for sure that I got my loan. I don't think they will like me opening new lines of credit right now. Maybe they won't care. I have no way of knowing. Loan closes one week from today. This time next week I can be in my new house. My car will be parked in my garage and I will be lounging on my new floor, no doubt, because I won't have any furniture!
Sunflower email is down today. They installed an update which screwed everything up (sound familiar?). I was hoping to hear from the loan office today. Figures. It is weird not having my main email account. I have my school email and my gmail, both of which I checked for want of something to check. I still have the internet and my phone, but I feel oddly disconnected.
I figure I will use the opportunity to do some reading, some more packing, and watch a movie. Here's the thing, will the 5-Hour Energy let me just sit around or will I have to be doing something? Time will tell. I have about 3 hours left.
