The plumber is here

You know that thing that happens while we are busy making other plans? Yeah, life.
Right now there is a plumber in my kitchen snaking the devil out of the pipes underneath. Both my sink AND my next-door neighbor's sink are clogged. He said one of us must have misused the garbage disposal, but how could we have wedged a full-sized demon down in the pipes? At any rate, that's what is going on now while I would prefer to be biking or buying camping food.
What is some good camping food that I can cook in my little saucepan and skillet?

=D
Good camping food?
Date: 2006-08-08 02:23 am (UTC)However, when I was 5 years old my family lived in a VW camper van for about 6 months camping all over Europe with my 4-year-old brother and 2 cats. Anyway, I thought we were camping. We may have been homeless...
We used to eat canned veggies and beef stroganoff cooked on a Coleman stove (add hot water and serve). For some reason, that stuff is comfort food to me. I never eat it unless I am camping.
