False Antihistamine Claims
Apr. 23rd, 2011 11:05 pmThey claim not to, but these 2nd generation antihistamines make me sleepy. At least, that is what I am choosing to believe. I needed today to get all of my work done because my parents want me to come to dinner tomorrow at 2:00 to celebrate Easter. We will proceed from there to my brother's home in central Missouri with Easter baskets for my nephews.
I figured the festivities would kill my chances for laundry and lesson plans on Sunday, so I thought I would do them today. The lessons are getting harder to write. For one thing, I am in uncharted territory, teaching material that I have not had to teach in a few years. Also, the students are really uninterested these days, so I have been trying to find something to grab their attention. Since they don't care, I have been having a hard time trying to care myself.
I hadn't planned on a four-hour nap this afternoon. Damn antihistamines! I think I will still get it all done and have a lovely time tomorrow. I really thought I would be done by now, but here I am writing in my journal.
