Those Moving Pictures Are Mesmerizing
Jul. 18th, 2010 01:25 pmI finally got my flat screen HDTV yesterday. The delivery was held up waiting for the console, but it was worth the wait because I wasn't about to put this new miracle device on the floor!
I can't stop watching it. Even crappy programming is holding my attention because it looks so good! I watched my Planet Earth dvds and a Gene Simmons Family Jewels marathon. My dvd player isn't HD, but whatever it displays on my screen still looks good!
I will have to pull myself away this afternoon because it is my nephew's birthday. I still have to grab a gift for him. I don't know what to get a 3-year-old. I was thinking about getting him a xylophone!
If this adventure to the middle of Missouri has any experiences worth relaying, I will post them here. More likely, I will just come home and watch some more TV.
