I had fun last night parading shamelessly down Mass Street as VMA Britney. I wasn't as cold as people thought I would be. I guess the wig and fishnets provided some warmth. [livejournal.com profile] shrijani scared many children (and adults) with her angry Japanese ghost costume (like from The Grudge or The Ring).

Since I knew I would be out late at Gogol Bordello's concert at Liberty Hall, I took today off work. I also scheduled my dental appointment so I could justify today as a sick day if anyone asked.

I have never had a cavity in my life, not even in my baby teeth. Until last year. It was a tiny little thing that didn't even require any anesthetic. Well, I got another one this time and it DID require a shot. I must have been nervous about it. Whenever I get nervous, it goes right to my stomach and/or intestines. I thought I was hung over but now that I am back from the dentist, all symptoms are gone. Even if I don't think I am nervous, my stomach will tell me differently.

Since I was nervous about the shot, they gave me the gas! Woah, baby! That stuff is good! It felt like being dizzy without all the room spinning. My body felt numb and floaty. I still hated the shot (top left molar and it is still numb) but I got to watch Scrubs on the ceiling TV. I don't get that channel at home. The show was pretty funny. Then came the drill! I wouldn't have minded but he kept drilling, then he would look, then he would drill some more. I am sure many of you have been through this before, but it's all new to me. I don't want any more dental procedures
