(no subject)

The Japan Festival martial arts demo went well. My mom even went to see me. I didn't have to move furniture and I rested and read all day today. Do I feel any less ill? NO!!! In fact, my sore throat is worse. Monday is like the worst day to miss of teaching. I have the day all planned, but I am introducing new material and I can't really have a non-Spanish speaking sub cover for me. Then Tuesday night is a pretty important volleyball game I am supposed to work.

This is just my being ill and complaining that I have to go to work anyway. I guess I wouldn't want to waste my sick days on being sick, now would I? I will save them for when I feel too good to go to work!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was good. I finished it today. I enjoyed the ride. I never read any HP books until this August, when I started with the first book and read straight through to the sixth. I now have only four books on my must-read list.
