Biking out in the country north of town, I brought my camera this time. I have some photos behind the cut.
piperdawn should appreciate this one.



The cows at the feed lot were looking at me.


The corn is already pretty tall.


Now I must ask, "Why did the geese cross the road?"



To get to the other side of the lake! Do they swim in formation, too?


Kansas is a great place to live! Yes it is a little hot, but we can get out of the city or the suburbs very easily. There is a subtlety to the beauty here that you may have to live here to appreciate.

Godz, girl, these pics rock! I'm not sure, but I think I've been into the hills at the end of the road in the top picture. Love that top picture.

I thought of you when I was getting the pictures off my camera. I am glad you liked them.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I will be in Las Vegas on my birthday. The national aikido conference is the big event. I hope to be able to ride the thrill rides on top of the Statosphere hotel on my birthday. They have a roller coaster and a ride that is like the Detonator only it is on top of a skyscraper!

I really want to ride that Detonator ride eventually, but I'm staying off the coaster!
