Got a One-Year Stay of...

pamelonianToday we got our enrollment numbers. They dropped some this year, and our 2 part-time teachers have been placed on "excess." I was in this position twice before and was transferred to other schools. Basically, these 2 teachers still have jobs, just not at our school and no one knows where yet. I hate to see people going through that because I know what it is like.
Our building lost 9 teachers for next year, and I was not one of them. This year. With the part-timers gone, I will officially be "low man on the totem pole" next year. Let's pray our enrollment numbers hold. For now, though, I know I will have a job next year and that is a good thing.
