I have not finished posting all of my Galápagos adventures. We had a rough night of sailing.  The ship was going head-on into the waves, which makes for a rougher ride.  We woke up (after not really sleeping) at Santiago.  This may have been my favorite island.

The first thing we saw was this beautiful arch.

The other side of the island had these beautiful natural pools.

Marine iguanas were everywhere.

And they didn't care how close we got.

Next we went to Rábida, which was a red sand beach. We got to go snorkeling here.

There was a mother pelican with her babies.

She fed them by letting them climb into her mouth!

Marine iguanas actually swim! They paddle their feet and thrash their tails. They can also hold their breath and dive for algae. They are the coolest!
