Post-holiday post
Dec. 26th, 2005 10:52 am"Real life" resumes today, whatever that is. I am still on vacation and I am still temporarily rooming with a dog. She has been such good company and so well-behaved I think I will keep her until Thursday. The last time I tried bringing her here she freaked out so much I took her back to her own house. She is used to being here now.
Yesterday I survived pretty much on beer and chocolates. I don't think my body will let me do that again today, so I guess I should go to the grocery store. I have food I could cook, but I don't feel like cooking it. I should bake- maybe make pancakes or muffins since I got a mixer for Krimmus.
It is supposed to be sunny all week with above average temperatures. That cold snap we had in the first 3 weeks of December was not normal. Usually January is the coldest month here and July the hottest. (I have been looking this stuff up.) I am going to be taking the dog for long walks and even riding my bike.
