14 Weeks
I got my renewed passport in the mail today. It was 14 weeks from when I sent it. They do issue a new number, so it was probably a good thing I did not book any trips with the old number. Also, I am busy completing my Baker University hours. I now have almost 9 done with 6 more in July. I like the idea of increasing my salary through study. Taking classes and world travel are both ways of educating myself. I will never stop learning.
Today I finished a class, got my oil changed, used the library internet (since I was in Overland Park far from my own computer), met with the financial adviser, had Indian food at Taj Mahal (yum!) with
piperdawn and got my passport in the mail.
I am thinking about the possibility of doing some volunteering. I have not figured out where or how yet, though. I don't want just to write a check. I would rather do something. As long as it does not involve knocking on doors or making phone calls, I am up for suggestions.
However, my Friday likely will involve reading by the pool, biking, and aikido.

Crap. That means my new request is not gonna make it in time for Italy. I wish I'd gone ahead and asked them to expedite it way back when I ordered it in April. Well, scratch that. I wish I'd gone ahead and expedited it even when they told me it wasn't necessary.
